To a large degree, the desire to touch, hear and see is an almost instinctive reflex. We all fear making bad decisions. When we’re about to make a purchase for instance, we need to collect as much information as possible prior to making that buying decision.

According to Dr. Ronald Marks, a University of Missouri marketing professor, studies claim that people learn up to 200% faster, pay 26% more attention and retain 38% more information with marketing messages and sales presentations that engage all the senses.

The more senses are engaged during the evaluation stage, the more information is sent to the brain. And the level of confidence one gains in making a buying decision is proportionate to the amount of information collected. That’s why, when we’re about to make a purchase, our normal inclination is to grab, touch and feel the object we want to buy before we buy. It’s simply human nature.

So, it makes perfect sense to give prospects as much information as possible — the ability to see, touch and inspect our offering will increase the likelihood of getting them to do what we want them to do. But today, we’re confronted with a major dilemma …

… The Internet!

The lack of tangibility on the web impedes sales. And according to Forrester Research, “Many consumers are still hesitant to buy online because they want to see and ‘touch’ a product before they buy it.” That’s why online buying, while slowly on the rise, is still limited by people’s inability to touch and feel a product.

“Accurate, photo-realistic 3D models help (because they) tell the whole story,” adds Forrester. Intel Corporation recently revealed that, “3D graphics enhance a consumer’s visual enjoyment of your website (since) they help convey information in a more compelling format, and they increase your website’s so-called ’stickiness’ by making your visitors want to return again and again.”

The lesson is this: as an Internet business owner or marketer, you need to cater to people’s natural buying behaviors. And in order to do so, you must mimic your visitors’ offline shopping experience as much as possible. Fortunately, a solution exists.

The web, being a visual medium, offers you the ability to show pictures of your offerings as to give your customers something they can appreciate. Look at eBay, for example. Products that sell the most are usually those accompanied by pictures of the offerings in question. In short, texts tell but pictures SELL!

If you can add a picture of your product (or one that represents your service or virtual product, even if it is never delivered in physical form), it helps to tantalize and compel your customers to act, respond or buy. With my businesses, for example, three- dimensional pictures have increased customer actions by 317%.

If your site sells an intangible product (including software or subscriptions) or a tangible one that people can’t inspect, you can maximize your downloads, sales or signups by merely adding a three-dimensional graphic, such as a cover, case, box or card.

Statistics show that, when companies incorporate 3D to show off their products online, they see a 300% increase in page views, a 200% increase in sales and a 50% increase in time spent at the site. Moreover, websites who use 3D seem to experience a lower return rate than companies who used 2D (or nothing at all).

If you sell anything online, including intangible products, you can use 3D to help maximize your clickthroughs, downloads and sales. Three-dimensional pictures are quite effective for:

- Electronic books,
- Software programs,
- Streaming audio or video,
- Email newsletters (or “ezines”),
- CD-ROMs or music CDs,
- Booklet or special reports,
- Video- or audio-casettes,
- Access to private sites or content,
- Subscription services,
- Web-based services and applications,
- Or information products.

With scams and snake oils infesting the web, people are naturally skeptical when making “blind” purchases online. If they can’t see your product, or if the image you project is unprofessional, they will assume there’s something wrong with it or that your product is just as unprofessional. People do judge books by their covers.

A recent BCG Consumer Survey found that people are still leery of making purchases online, noting that, “70% of respondents worry about making purchases via the web.” But by giving your prospects something can at least visually appreciate, however, you not only increase your chances but also create instant credibility.

Simply stated, a multidimensional shopping experience gives the visitor more information and makes the customer more confident. By bringing your product to “life,” if you will, you give them something they can feel better about.

As the adage goes, “You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.” What impression are you conveying? If people judge books by their covers, make sure yours is worth judging.

Copyright 2005 Andrew Eaton

Does having an ebook cover or mini-site header graphic on your website increase your sales or does it hurt your business in through long run.

Having been in the graphic design business for over 2 years now, here are a few things that I?ve learned that it all comes down to; professional images. Do your graphics look good enough? Do they have the right designs?

What do I mean?

Well let?s say that your websites sells an audio product - cd about a recent interview you did, Now lets assume you have some great website-designs but what would happen if you had an ebook cover on your website, well you would probably get a few sales, but it wouldn?t sell great.

Now lets see what would happen if you had an image of a cd with a cd case. How much better would your sales increase, well first thing would be that your customers would see the cd product and know instantly that the website sells an audio product, there are hundreds & thousands who are actively seeking audio products. Your sales would increase just by showing the graphics of an audio cd.

Now by all means I wouldn?t recommend going out and creating an audio cd, unless you have people actively seeking your target market and you can write a decent sales letter.

If you take all of the popular and hot selling products online & offline what do they all have in common?

You guessed it - website graphics, which consist of;

-header panel
-ebook cover
-order button
-background image
-footer image

Just by having any of the above graphics on your website, you can dramatically increase your Website sales, People have reported that their sales have increased by as much as 443% (the above example is for a customer I did some graphics for)

Now by all means I wouldn?t recommend creating your own graphics, if you?ve never done it before, I would recommend hiring someone to do them for you; there are hundreds of highly designed people who could do them at a reasonable price.

Now if you?re looking to save some money creating website graphics, then by all means go ahead, there are lots of software which will help you to do the job right.

Here are just a few;

Adobe Photoshop 5 or above so that you can use the action scripts
Action scripts - ebook/cd/ezine/spiral/membership card covers
Royalty free stock images - from as little as $1.00 per image
Special ecover software - software which creates graphics without Photoshop

Here are 3 steps to create great graphics.

Step 1 -
Open Photoshop and select the action script you want.
Then open the images you are going to add to the graphics, if you don?t have any try istockphotos.com.

Step 2 ?
Enter your text on the template which the action script created.
Rearrange the text and images to where they look good on the graphics.
Choose the colours which will make everything stand out and look very professional.

Step 3 ?
Once everything is looking good, simply save the image for the web and you?re done!

The above 3 steps are exactly all you need to do, but if your not familiar with them then you will need to find tutorials for them, and maybe do a little bit of research for them on your favourite search engine.

Infoproducts!

It’s one of the biggest challenges to getting your
business started.

Finding products to sell online that you enjoy working
at and that attract an ongoing stream of "hungry"
buyers is THE most important success factor to doing
business - period!

For those of you that want to create their own infoproducts,
it’s even more important since you will be investing time,
energy and your emotions into your products.

Thousands of subscribers to my "Online Marketing Success
Secrets Revealed"
(http://www.infoproductcreator.com/ezine1.html) Newsletter,
experts and aspiring infoproduct creators struggle with the
same 6 questions…

Do these questions keep you awake at night?

1. What do I like doing enough that I would spend a few
weeks developing a product, and years marketing and
supporting them?

2. How do I know if ENOUGH people will purchase my product
to achieve my goals?

3. Will people pay for my knowledge - even if I’m not an
expert?

4. How do I test for demand BEFORE I spend weeks or months
developing my products?

5. Do I have to write a 150-page book to make money?

6. What topics sell - it seems like only "Making Money"
type products are selling.

Listen - you are NOT the first to wonder about these
questions.

In fact, your success depends on getting PAST these doubts
- so let’s take each one and work through them - OK?

1. DO I HAVE TO REALLY LOVE MY TOPIC?

Two answers to this question - you CAN develop a winning
product about a subject that you are not completely
passionate about.

Professional writers do it all the time.

Here’s the catch.

A great deal of your success marketing infoproducts online
will depend on MORE than just selling 1 product. It will
depend on…

a) Your ability to market additional products - yours and
others.
b) Your ability to create great publicity campaigns,
partnerships, follow up sales campaigns, loyalty with your
readers
c) Your ability to support and ADD-VALUE to your
prospective and
existing customers
d) Your ability to gain MOMENTUM in your business by
tapping into your customer base and continuing to provide
them high-value, back-end products

Are you seeing it?

Yes, you can develop an article, book, booklet, eBook or
whatever infoproduct you favor about a topic you are less than
thrilled about - BUT…

You MUST be willing to live with that market for years to come!

For that reason alone, it’s worth finding a market and
subject that both interests you AND has great potential.

Here’s a real-world example.

Just over 1.5 years ago I developed my own eBook aimed at
empowering product developers with proven ways to tap into
a flood of market demand, test their ideas and quickly
generate products that sell like wildfire.

The original ebook - "The Ultimate Information
Entrepreneur’s Success Package" at:

http://www.infoproductcreator.com

took me 4 weeks to develop - start to finish.

Not bad.

It’s because I knew my topic so well that I was able to
produce a 110 page eBook and accompanying interviews within
weeks.

Since that time I have written well over 60 articles,
published a regular ezine, updated my product 3 times,
written several special reports, created hard-hitting
websites, press releases, ads and added hundreds of pages
of content to my websites.

All of that is not including more than 40 interviews, reviews,
publicity events and other projects I’ve been involved in -
ALL ON THE SAME TOPIC.

Add to that hundreds of hours of email and phone conversations
with joint venture and affiliate partners who sell my product
for me each and every week.

Now - all of this activity has put tens of thousands into my
hands, from this one single book, not to mention other products
I sell.

POINT IS: Marketing The Product YOu Create Will Mean Living With
Your Product Each and Every Day As You BUild Your Business. You
Can Make A Fortune, But It Takes Some Effort Each and Every Day.
You MUST Be Passionate Enough About Your Topic To Stay Motivated
and Focused - That’s the Secret To Building Your Own Infoproduct
Empire Online.

2. HOW DO YOU ESTIMATE DEMAND FOR YOUR INFOPRODUCT IDEA

Now we’re into the details that will skyrocket you into
the top 5% of infoproduct developers online - that will set you
aside from 95% of others who do NOT consider demand for their
topic.

Just for sake of argument - I’m going to use an example of a
hobby that some of you may have, model airplanes. You know,
those little scale airplanes that get so many hobbyists out
of bed at ungodly times of the morning - addicting to the smell
of Naptha gas.

Here’s a few ways you can can estimate demand for your
proposed market…

a) Use online tools to seek out demand. The three best
tools (and they are completely free) to use are:

- Overture keyword search tool:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

A search for model airplanes brings up some interesting
information -

- Over 55,000 searches on this topic in less than 1-month
(Not Bad!)
- Second most searched topic RELATED to model airplanes is
Model Airplane News - OK, so people want information.
- Several search categories include searches done on various
products, evidence that this market is willing to spend
money.

b) Now if you had a tool such as Adword Analyzer —

http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/adwanalyze

Then you would see that the supply of websites that come up
when searching for model airplanes is quite small - relative
to other keyword searches.

In addition, with this incredible tool, you would see that
there are very few current Google Adwords or Overture.com
campaigns being purchased. What’s that mean?

It means that you can use one or both of these tools to generate
almost INSTANT high-quality traffic to your site for a fraction
of what most other high-demand keywords would cost.

All good signs that point to a strong market demand for your
hobby and area of product interest.

c)A third method you can use is to seek out what is already
selling. A great way to do that is to look at
http://www.amazon.com and http://www.zdnet.com top
movers op sellers in various market niches.

This will tell you ALLOT about what people are spending money
on right now!

3. WHAT WILL PEOPLE PAY ME FOR?

Now that you have picked a niche market and an area of focus, you
need to find out what people want BADLY within that niche.

Here are a few ways to find out…

a) Search google for "model airplane discussion forums". You are
looking for active and reasonably good quality forums to TAP INTO
ongoig discussions - this will offer you a goldmine of information
on what people are looking for.

In a 5-minute search, here’s what I found –

http://www.indiarc.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi

http://www.rcorlando.com/modules.php?name=Forums

http://www.flightlines.com/cgi-
bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true

You will find TONS of active discussions that will lead to product
ideas, allowing you to tap into what this market wants.

b) Get involved in Chat’s - many of the sites above also run live
chat sessions periodically, another great way to find out pockets
of demand

c) Check offline - read RC Modeller magazines and books, find out
consistent topics, gaps in information or ideas that you could
expand into a different medium.

For example, a common topic is flying techniques or flight patterns.

Why not travel to your local model flying club and video tape
both flight paths and techniques used by flyers, converting them
into digital files and selling them on CD-ROM?

You get the idea.

d) Listen to your fellow model airplane buffs - find out what their
frustrations are, what their spending patterns are and what else
they are looking for, but can’t find.

4. TESTING FOR DEMAND

Here are 3 quick methods of testing for demand - BEFORE you spend
days, weeks or months on creating your infoproduct.

a) Surveys - using a free trial from http://www.surveymonkey.com
you can find out whether your target market seems as passionate
about your idea as you are. NOTE: Be sure to ask them IF and
HOW MUCH they would be willing to cough up to get answers to
their questions.

b) Special Report - Use this often overlooked technique to put
together a few pages (from 5-20 pages) that you can either give
away or sell for a low price to test the popularity of your
idea. You WILL need to market this report, so it will take
some time BUT, it’s a great way to setup your marketing channels
ahead of time, preparing them for your full product which comes
later.

The best resource I’ve come across on writing Income-Generating
Special Reports is "The Special Report Bible" - you will be
amazed at what you can put together in a matter of hours or
days.

ANOTHER IDEA is to run an interview or teleseminar on your
topic with a topic expert. Judge the popularity of the call
can mean you will roll out new products later.

An example of this strategy is Yanik Silver’s recent Public
Domain Riches teleseminar
(http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/pdomain) which turned
out to be such a hit that he quickly put together a $1,000+
personal coaching course on the same topic.

c) Articles - Write articles on your topic directly addressing
the same desire you hope to fill with your full product. Submit
your article to the various article directories on Yahoo and
many others out there. Request a courtesy notification from
publishers who publish your article so that you get a feel for
how popular the article proves to be. Of course, you should
also have a link to either a website or autoresponder email
address at the end of your article. Clicks on your link
following the article will also give you a sense of how popular
the topic is.

What should you expect?

You don’t need to have HUGE numbers, a few publications and approx
a 1% clickthrough on any published articles tells you there is
enough response to continue - or at least do additional testing.

5. eBOOKS AND WHAT ELSE?

If you haven’t asked the question - WHAT ELSE and you are
considering writing a typical book or eBook then you may be
missing out on product opportunities that will both make
you more money AND take far less time to create.

Here are just a few formats that many successful infoproduct
developers use today…

- Audio files (telseminars, interviews, commentary)
- Special Reports (5-20 page treatments)
- Videos (It’s easier than you think)
- Software (Software applications or scripts can be developed
by starving professionals on Elance.com or Scriptlance.com
for far less than you might imagine.
- Physical booklets or courses/binders
- Bundled products

6. THE INTERNET MARKETING MARKET FALLACY

It has to be the biggest un-truth floating around the internet.

Contrary to what most people say, developing products targeted
only at the internet marketing crowd is NOT the only OR the
most lucrative market out there.

It IS the most competitive - so that’s why you tend to see
products everywhere, leading most people to believe those are
the only products selling.

In fact, there are products selling in many niches including…

- health and wellness
- hobbies (models, crafts, collectors, music, sports, etc…)
- relationships
- parenting
- career and business
- business opportunities (ie. home business)
- technology
- pets
- and many, many others

Each week I continue to be AMAZED at the incredible opportunities
out there in niche markets - our society is more information
hungry than ever.

Don’t make the common mistake of ignoring a market you are

With those obstacles out of your way - NOTHING stands in the way
of you creating that lifestyle you’ve always wanted by creating

Ask any internet marketing ?guru? and they will tell you the same thing:

?Sooner or later you will have to have your own product to sell.?

The fact is, the easiest product to make and sell is an ebook.

Even if all you do is sell affiliate products, at some point you?ll need to write your own ebook, such as ?How to Make Money as an Affiliate?.

However, the purpose of this article is not to show you how or why to write an ebook. If that is what you want then read Jim Edward?s ebook ?How to Write and Publish Your Own Ebook? in as Little as 7 Days?

The purpose of this article is to teach you how to make money once that ebook is written.

Here are 10 tips for making money with ebooks:

Allow newsletter publishers or web site owners in your niche market to print excerpts from your ebook with your byline included. Just be careful with this, you don?t want to give away so much information that customers don?t feel they need to buy your ebook.

Increase profits by selling monthly updates of your ebook, or the ?never released? chapters of your e-book.

Purchase reprint rights to other people’s ebooks and combine them with yours in a large package deal or as a bonus for buying your ebook.

Change the benefits on your ebook ad copy into links. When people click on the link it will take them right to the order page. It’ll give them an urge to buy your ebook.

Offer freebies that are related to the ebook your selling. It could be free monthly ebook updates, free newsletter, free consulting, free software etc.

Show your prospects a sample page out of your ebook. Just black out some of the important info. This will make your prospects curious to buy.

Offer the reprint rights to your ebook. You can sell the rights with the regular purchase price or as a separate higher price.

Make your ebook available in other mediums. For example, you could turn it into a video or audio ebook, etc. There is plenty of easy to use software out the market that can do this.

Redesign your ebook for specific niches. You can create multiple ebooks with very little work. For example, turn a business ebook into a craft business ebook. Or, turn a Job Interview Tips ebook into several ebooks geared to specific job markets.

Give your prospects discount coupons on other products when they purchase your ebook. Discounts could be for your products or others that you made deals with.

Remember, ebooks are a great way to start earning money online. However, once your ebook and web site are created, you still need to find ways to increase your sales.

10 Ways to Increase Your Traffic And Sales With eBooks

Wouldn?t it be great to boost your income?
Here are some quick tips to bring more visitors to
your website ? and increase sales opportunities.

1. Offer goodies! People love to get free stuff.
And a free eBook is perfect. Add some to your
site and visitors will drop by to get your free
valuable information. For free ones and new
monthly ebooks to freshen up your site, learn
from and sell, check out the wholesale site at
http://presssuccess.com/wholesale

2. Give away the full version of your eBook in
exchange for testimonials. You can use these
customer statements to improve your
effectiveness.

3. Spruce up your credentials. When you write
and give away a free eBook, you will become
known as an expert. This will help people to
trust you and try your main product or
service quicker.

4. Publish your web site in eBook format. Put the
eBook on a disk or CD-ROM then include it
with your direct mail packages. This can increase
the number of people who buy your product or
service.

5. Offer your eBook as a free bonus for buying
one of your main products or services. People
will buy the product or service more often when
you offer a free bonus. For more monthly eBooks
to offer as well as hosting, help and a whole lot more,
check out a membership site like
http://presssuccess.com/PushButton

6. Allow people to download your eBook for
free, if they give the e-mail addresses of 3 to 5
friends or associates that would be interested in
your eBook. This will quickly build your e-mail
list.

7. Create a directory of web sites in eBook form.
List web sites in the directory of companies and
people who agree to advertise the eBook on their
web sites or in their e-zines. This will give them
incentive to give away or advertise your eBook.

8. Allow other people to give away your free
eBook. This will increase the number of people
who will see your ad in the eBook. You could
also include a mini catalog of all your products or
services that you offer in the eBook.

9. Gain new leads by having people sign up and
give you their contact information before they can
download your eBook. This is a very effective
way to conduct market research.

10. Make money selling advertising space in your
eBook. You could charge for full-page color ads,
classified ads or banners ads. You could also
trade advertising space in your eBook for other
forms of advertising.

So take action! Choose one or more of the tips
above now, save the rest for the months ahead.
To help with your eBook operations, help yourself
to a 30-Day Trial of autoresponders, online forms,
shopping cart set up, merchant account, digital
secure delivery and much more at
I was speaking to a good friend of mine who operates
many businesses online and he just happened to mention
that he gets many of his ideas from eBay.

Even more intriguing, he told me that he could tell
how much of a given product was selling on eBay.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been trying to
figure out how to tap into eBay sales information for
months now - but there just doesn’t seem to be any
way….

Until, this know-it-all let me know the simple, yet
highly effective method he uses…

**************************************************
SIDEBAR:

Learn how Terrance turns 57-minutes each week into
huge monthly income from eBay — as much as
$8,175.55 Per Month!

http://www.highertrustmarketing.com/part/terrance
***************************************************

First, it is worth noting that you can get a summary of
the hottest categories selling on eBay. While this is
somewhat useful in locating trends and broad areas of
interest, there is a more useful way to use the auction
center to test your own ideas.

Start by searching eBay for your keyword term + ebook.

For example, if you are trying to test "dog training",
then you would enter "dog training ebook" in your
search.

In most cases you will find at least one example, and in
many cases you will find lots of different ebooks listed.

The next step is to select a few examples that match
closely to your idea or topic area. Bring the auction up,
and now for the trick…

eBay provides great detail into auctions by member,
including a complete detailed list of auctions and outcome
by member.

So, what you want to do is simply scan the members holding
active auctions - selecting the option "search all auctions
by this member" and viola, you will get a picture of
activity from this member.

Using this information you can judge if there are two sales
of their product each day or 20. The idea is not to get
an actual, accurate count, but rather a sense of how many
copies are moving through their auction.

You may be shocked by some of the results you see. Any
existing ebook, report, course, training, audio or video
that has activity daily - especially with multiple copies
sold daily, will help to validate your market and topic
area.

Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own website. Some people don’t have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.

Do you have a knack for web design? Create some templates, graphics, etc. and upload them to your site. Then, allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site.

Did you know that you already have an eBook inside you?
And, like your coach, you can earn thousands of dollars each month?

Even if you are a non-techie like me, you can write your ebook at the same time you write your print book. Or, solve your readers’ problems using other articles and reports already in your files. Expand a two-page article with a story or add other how-to’s.

If you want to double and triple your present book income, check out these mistakes and correct them now.

Mistake 1. You don’t write a short eBook first to test the waters.

Short is in the eyes of the beholder, but let’s say from 15-90 pages. Your future customers will be glad to download these pages and print only the ones they need to.

Your eBook needs to be more concise, easy-to-read, and compelling than your print book. That means you can shorten your analogies and stories. You can use a "success format" that poses a question (a heading) your reader wants answered, then answer it. This formula gets to the point quickly, and always remember, your Online audience is busy and doesn’t want a wordy style.

Mistake 2. You don’t check in with a professional editor or book coach before you sell your eBook.

Yes, it’s good to get feedback from peers, but you need to get a professional look at the final edition–someone who can set you straight about words and grammar that makes your writing vital and original. For instance, you need to drop your passive constructions such as "there is" or any form of "is, has, begin or start". Limit the -ly adverbs that merely tell rather than show. Your readers want a picture and want to respond with their emotions. Limit your -ing forms of the verbs. Keep your copy in present or past tense.

Mistake 3. You don’t know your audience before you write your eBook.

Emerging authors make this biggest mistake. They have information, so why not write an eBook? Instead think about the audience you will serve. More targeted works well. People who want something quick and easy that will save them time and money–another audience. The best one so far in the untapped Internet or Online audience. Mostly small business people, they are eager to buy what they need to make their life or business more enjoyable, profitable, and easy.

Right now, think of your one or two preferred audiences, and keep their profile of their needs, complaints, or problems as well as their picture by your workstation. Then you will write the book your pre-sold audience already wants!

Mistake 4. You don’t automate your business .

As a newbie or non-techie, at first you may resist learning how to do this. Three years ago I knew nothing about the net, and today I’ve published five eBooks on Internet marketing and eBook writing and publishing. You can too, little by little.

Since each book will not bring you landslides of profit, think about limiting your small priced books. Or, bundle them so that each sale is around $20 and up.

Offer your eBook for sale through an 800 number. One with excellent service is MRC business Support at 800-366-5596. Set up a link for people to download your book. Two companies to investigate are Clickbank.com and Paypal.com.

Delegate some of this work to your computer assistant. Contact your local high schools and technical schools where Online geniuses live. And, the cost is nominal in comparison to the results.

Mistake 5. You don’t have a title that sells well.

A good title is short, clear, and clever. The best title includes your book’s number one benefit. Use words your audience can relate to. Even cliches are OK for book titles. Instead of "How to Market Online" offer a title like a Web site headline:
"Quadruple your Monthly Book Income–Market Online."

Brainstorm a list of your possible titles with associates through a small marketing survey. Ask them to vote from 1-10 and offer their own title ideas that would make them reach into their wallets and pay $15-20 or more.

6. You don’t leverage your eBook for higher price sales.

When you look at the valuable information inside your eBook and you realize you only make $20 a sale, you may want to investigate putting it into an eCourse. These courses sell for $79 and up. With just a little revising and tweaking, you can set your book up to be a hands-on how to course.

You can bundle several lower cost eBooks and list their singular prices. Then offer a fabulous discount to buy all three or four.

Mistake 7. You don’t add bonus value to your eBook.

Whenever you put 2-4 bonus special reports at the end of your eBook document in Portable Document Format, you make your offer so appealing, that many will buy for the bonuses alone. For an eBook on How to Write your EBook or Other Book–Fast! an eBook that sells for $24.95, the author offered these three valuable bonuses as an incentive to buy. "Titles Sell Books" - value $4.95, 2. "Write Like a Pro Checklist." - value $3.95, and 3. "How to Get Testimonials from the Rich and Famous" - value $5.95 . That’s $15 of valuable reports added to $24.95–Total value: $40.00 value for only $24.95.

She put a new link on her Web site "Discounts of the Month." With a limited time offer, from her ePromotion bi-monthly offers, she got many new buyers. Everyone wants useful, original information. Everyone also wants a bargain.

Mistake 8. You put too many topics in your book.

Remember, best sellers focus on one main topic. Each chapter must support that subject. When you try to give too much, your information isn’t organized, short, and compelling. Instead of the end all, be all book, concentrate on one "how-to" and give plenty of details to make it useful to your reader.

9. You don’t market while you write.

Most writers wish someone else would do it for them. Not in this lifetime! It’s so much easier to put marketing into each chapter title, each chapter’s questions you will answer, rough draft of your eBook’s back cover (sales letter), the One-Minute "Tell and Sell," and knowing your targeted audience, thesis and table of contents before you write a single chapter. Knowing these essential "Seven Hot-Selling Points" before you finish your eBook will have you ready to promote the second you write your last word. .

10. You don’t brand yourself, your business, and your book.

Some people join an affiliate program or set up an affiliate program for others to sell their products and sell many products. As a marketing coach, what I want for you is to think of the overview "umbrella" you can house your products under. Think about your biggest benefit you offer through your service. Think about your book title. Can you put a key word from it into each chapter title? For the book, "Passion at Any Age," the author put the word passion in each chapter title such as "Passionate Self-Care". In one client’s book, "Watch Out! Your Relationships Can Be Hazardous To Your Health." the author included the key words "watch out!" in each chapter title.

The eBook earning curve while short, is important for all writers to conquer. It’s easier when you contact a professional coach or take a teleclass to inform yourself. Stop making eBook mistakes so you can earn the money you deserve.
